1. What Tonus Health Is

Tonus Health is a wellness and nutrition companion app. It may provide calorie estimates, meal logging, Tonus recipes, nutrition-related content, blog content, code redemption, and loyalty access connected to Tonus products.

Tonus Health is not a medical device. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, disease prevention, or emergency services.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect the following categories of information.

Account Information

  • Name or display name
  • Email address
  • Login credentials or authentication identifiers
  • Account settings
  • Language and country preferences

Nutrition, Wellness, and App Profile Information

Meal Photos and Camera/Photo Data

If you use the photo scanner, you may upload or capture meal photos. We use those photos to estimate food items, portions, and approximate calories.

Important:

  • Calorie estimates from photos are approximate.
  • We do not use meal photos for medical diagnosis or treatment.
  • We do not use meal photos for advertising.
  • Meal photos are processed to provide the photo scanner result. Unless you choose to save a meal entry that includes the photo, meal photos are not kept as permanent account content and are deleted after processing or after a short technical processing period.

Tonus Code Redemption Data

When you redeem a Tonus package code, we may collect:

  • The code entered or scanned
  • Redemption date and time
  • Account receiving the benefit
  • Access days or loyalty benefits added
  • Fraud-prevention and abuse-prevention signals

Device, Usage, and Technical Data

We may collect:

  • Device type, operating system, app version, and language
  • IP address and approximate region
  • App usage events
  • Crash reports and diagnostics

  • Meal logs, goals, and progress data: until you delete them or delete your account
  • Code redemption records: retained for as long as needed to prevent duplicate code use, fraud, and abuse, and generally for the life of the code-redemption program unless deletion is legally required
  • Support messages: retained for up to 24 months after the last support interaction, unless a longer period is needed for legal, security, or dispute reasons
  • Security logs and crash reports: retained for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is needed to investigate abuse, fraud, security, or technical incidents

When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize personal information unless we must retain limited records for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons.
